Join us at Atlanta Bike Coalition's Streets Alive Festival this Sunday!

This Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, something special is taking place in Atlanta. We will be joining forces with St. Anthony of Padua to participate in the Streets Alive bike riding festival, a great event put together by the good folks of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition. A 3.5-mile loop in the Historic West End will be closed to cars and opened to humans. Bring your bikes (or even your feet) and get ready to explore the city in a sustainable and more livable way. Cultivate the type of experiences that make people happy. This year's event will include:
Tactical Urbanism
Inexpensive, individual projects that make small places more lively and enjoyable, designed with seniors in mind, through a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission.
People for a Livable Lee Street
People for a Livable Lee Street will construct a pop-up protected bike lane on Lee Street. Lee Street will be highlighted during the event in order to bring attention to the group’s goal of converting this high speed arterial to a complete street that encourages transportation by foot and on bike, while connecting neighborhoods, transit, and jobs.
Atlanta BeltLine
Great access to the Atlanta BeltLine West End Trail and the currently under construction Westside Trail.
Music in the Park ATL
Roving musical performances by Music in the Park, a local nonprofit dedicated to enlightening young performers and inspiring vibrancy in communities through music and performing arts.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Saint Anthony's fight to curve homelessness and invigorate the community. Stop by, grab a cupcake, and say hello. We can't wait to meet you!
